Armasight 2x A-Focal Lens for Q14 Thermal Imaging Monocular

This lens is a great improvement for the Armasight Q14 thermal imaging monocular. The monocular itself is so small that even with the 2x lens it still doesn't increase the size too much. As for the lens, it made a huge difference. Don't be fooled by "digital" zoom. It is a sham... all it does is magnify the screen image which just leads to more and more pixelation. If you want to have a better image then optical magnification from a bigger lens is what you want. This made the presentation on the screen twice as large but retained all the clarity (unlike digital zoom). You give up a little field of view but the stock Q14 has so much FOV that I didn't miss it at all. And, if you needed more FOV the lens is easily removed. It seems like a high item but quality lenses are what really cost. If you want to improve your Q14 then this will do it. You'll be glad you did.
